Room Ten's Pukekos
Over the past couple of weeks we have been very busy with our pukeko art work. Have a look at the pictures below and see if you can see the steps we took to create our wonderful pukekos.
As part of writing we have been looking at RECRAFTING our sentences to make them more interesting. Using the pukekoes was a great way to tie this in. In the clip below you will see our finished pieces of art work as well as the writing we have done.
Congratulations to Cole and Sophia for fabulous descriptions and Koby for outstanding art work. These three had the privilege of going down to visit Mrs Warren.
Our Big Maths Dice
As part of our class warm ups, Miss Campbell brings out her special dice. She changes the cards in the dice depending on our Maths' focus. We love taking turns at using them.
What a great teaching tool! Since Miss Campbell has changed the room around we use the data projector all the time for our learning. In the pictures below we are completing our handwriting on the floor. This helps us with our upper body strength. Some of us are trying to get our desk license.
Koby and Oscar came to visit. Room ten are looking forward to them being a part of our room from term 3!
Big Day Out Gymnastics
In the last week of the term we visited the Christchurch School of Gymnastics. We had so much fun learning new skills. Phoenix was spotted for having great posture and jumping techniques. She was allowed to go on the big trampoline too. It certainly was a great way to end the term.
Congratulations!!
